1. CHARLIE HARRIS AT LARGE
    Original Air Date:
    February 14, 1975

    Synopsis.
Tony Musante stars as Charlie Harris, a “high society hustler” who was Rockford’s cellmate for two years at San Quentin. Charlie is the leading suspect in the murder of a socialite whom he recently married. Though Charlie is innocent, and even has an alibi (a woman he knows only as “Cassandra”), he needs Rockford’s help when Cassandra disappears.  Jim discovers that Charlie’s mystery woman is married to Alfred Bannister, a powerful business magnate who wants to suppress any knowledge of his wife’s involvement with Charlie. Bannister threatens to have Rockford killed unless he drops the case.

This episode features Tony Musante, who played the title role in Toma, the series produced by Roy Huggins and Stephen J. Cannell, and the vehicle for which the Jim Rockford character was created.
