    Original Air Date:
    February 17, 1978

    Synopsis.
Rockford’s friend Paul Lowe Douglas, a promising journalism student at Rosemont University, is abducted outside of Jim’s trailer by members of a popular college fraternity. With the help of Leslie Callahan (Paul’s teacher—and lover), Rockford discovers that Paul had gathered evidence of a plot to kidnap student Mustahfa Ben Ali, the son of a prominent Arab ruler. Max Kilmore, the head of campus security, had hoped to exhort two million dollars from the boy’s father, but the plan backfired when Ali died of a heart attack. While the paranoid Kilmore tries to fend off the Arab agents who are investigating the matter, he also tries to eliminate Rockford and Leslie.
